I saw you had a long delay for the stones, I ordered mine when I got back from the tour, they shall be here Friday.

Also got another shipment in from corksport!
Having not really seen these up close and personal I was very surprised at the quality of these! Corksport customer service was awesome, I had originally ordered these on Thursday with 2 day shipping, after not receiving any email confirmation from them after Friday I called them, they told me that there was an issue with the pillow ball nuts and that it won't ship until the following Tuesday, they upgraded my shipping for first day air and I received them this morning, also refunding me my 2 day shipping that I had paid for! Can't say enough good things about corksport! The install way pretty easy, like everyone else I ground down the pillow ball but quite a bit so it fit under the shock tower.
First one ready to install!
After a quick drive around town, no weird noises or popping so I deemed that install a success!

So last update for the summer makeover for this car.
Received these in the mail rota 15x7.5 (thanks again mazda3az) and also got my order in from the great tire rack

I love the bridge stones so I kept with that theme, although today I found out that the rival S is getting a complete compound change for the 2017 season although they won't be on sale until the current version is sold out. Might give those a try next season to compare.
My next event for the year is in 2 weeks, haven't ran locally in almost 2 months so I've dropped to second in points but local competition won't be any match for this setup, unless a serious contender decided to show up out of nowhere. Looking to take a top 5 in PAX over my usual top 10.

Kenlilley04's STF Build Thread

Alright so took a vacation up to north Georgia with my girlfriends family and was only about an hour away from the tail of the dragon again! I couldn't resist so we took a day to explore the area and found some great food and some even better roads!

I think you will like the feel of those wheels.

Looking good. 👍

Now all you have to do is adjust all of this to work well together, and to fit your driving style.

Well I have been racing since I was 7 years old, won numerous points championship in quarter scale sprint cars (quartermidgets) and even placed 3rd at nationals in 2008. However I have always had the worst luck in racing and in anything race related, today sadly my 2.3 decided to give out. Got the dreaded low oil pressure light and then rod knock just in a matter of maybe a minute.
Not to sure what I'm going to do as far as my build goes, might part it out and switch up to something else or swap in a used low mileage 2.3 if I can find one soon. My school year starts in 4 weeks so whatever I do it needs to be done quick.

Very sorry to hear of this. Ain't fair.

I know I'd like you to quickly find an inexpensive donor engine and swap that puppy out. But also understand that finances will control your final decision. Good luck.
