Joe, if you read from the top down here, *I* said nothing about your Company. I was seeking to create an option with another Company.

When someone (an Administrator yet!) responded by trashing said company (instead of offering other options, which would have been more appropriate), I simply stated that my information differed about your company. And off we went. I tried and retryed to steer this topic back on track.

I have the original email you sent me. I will forward that back to you and ask, again, the questions I sent twice before to you about needing some details regarding your tune. They were critical to me (regarding tossing codes and such) as in Arizona whatever we drive on the Street must pass Emissions every two years. Some people here apparently don't have to worry about that.

Don't want or need anything free from you. And suggest your friends here to call Hypertech and personally apologize for publicly trashing that company. I'm sure they too care about their customer satisfaction.

Your product may be great. Don't know. Nor did *I* actively seek to trash your company or product. I simply shared personal experiences/knowledge. Very disappointed in a couple of people here. Not what my other experiences have been in other Topics and postings in the Forum.

I was not suggesting that you did, only that we must have done something wrong in our response to you ( or lack there of)to put you off. This is what is important to us; to solve any issue we might have had, and going forward to make damn sure they don't happen again.

This response as well as the attitude within is impressive. And positive. Thank you. Dynotronics is back among my options/considerations.

Joe and I have emailed each other, and I now have all the information needed to help make a decision about his product. He came through.

That said, I still wish this whole thread had just stayed on target. I'd still like people who might not be in the market for a "full monty" tune to use the original link and help convince Hypertech to create a tuner for the 2.0 Mazda3.

Many options for us in the marketplace is a good thing.

Yes. Map and calendar included above for current and future references.

Not a lot of Mazda3's out; I should be very easy to find. I'm the fast one. J/K.

You mean continuing to post information that is not only relative but also informative for any future guest viewers to know to avoid the system?

I'm sorry I'm not sorry.

I thought I'd point out to the OP that Nuse is one of if not the only people that did before and after dyno testing of the Hypertech, so when he says "lost power/junk" not only is he well informed, he's giving you free and valuable advice. If you choose to ignore it, go right on ahead.

We all have our opinions, particularly those of us who've been around longer, but none of us are going to hold our tongues if we see another member something we feel is Ill-advised.

2007 Phantom Purple hatch; JBR RMM/busihgs/shifter plate, Koni STR.t's, Michelin Pilot AS3's, Spin on oil filter conversion, stubby antenna, Kenwood KDC-X997 hu + Sundown Audio SA12 + Infinity speakers + JL 320.4 amp, debadged and door edge guards removed, Lamin-X + indy fog mod, aluminum AC knobs, DIY SRI, TRS 5000K HIDs, more coming.

I guess I missed the part where he shared that he had done "dyno-testing", and those results?

Seriously, that would have been useful and relevant data. Would have added some weight to the verbiage.

I don't think anyone would truly expect that a Hypertech Tuner would come anywhere close to any of the real tuners out there. Might be nice to have a mild option for those not wanting to spend dyno time and money. Not everyone is "hard-core".

I've been playing with cars and autocrossing since the early 70's. You?

EDIT - I'm going to temper this a bit, and try to put it into a better perspective.

Many in these Forums have been beyond helpful in helping me learn about caring for my Mazda3's. Thermostat replacement, suspension changes, belt changes, and more. The community knowledge here is immense, and very valuable. This information before has always been offered freely, and has been very accurate.

Specifics about why the Hypertech would have been not a good choice would have been appreciated. How the advice was presented did not come across well.
