Yeah... it's fast.

He definitely needed more shock though, I had to drive the car like a street car pretty much.

I'm really curious to see what whitner can pull off this year with his.

I see your signed up for the DC champ tour, I'm thinking about making the 12 hour drive from Florida but I'm not quite sure yet. Do you know if there is camping allowed on the site? I'm not sure I'll be able to swing a hotel

Yes camping on site is allowed, I don't see it published officially anywhere, but I think you're good. They had 'overnight security' for the Pro, and I saw multiple RVs I presume people slept in.

Would be nice to put a face to a username and race together!

I email to be sure and yes camping is allowed, looks like I'll be able to go, just have to switch some days at work. This 12 hour drive isn't going to be to fun though lol

Another delay with the 205 Bridgestones. Expected delivery is early July now...

Those rival s are looking more and more ideal...

I'm assuming you've run at the champ tour venue before in DC, how is the surface? Asphalt or concrete and how rough is it? Pretty bumpy?

Well DC is my region so I run local events on this lot

It's sealed asphalt, so it can be an interesting drive, lots of elevation changes, on/off camber bits, springs (yes water seeps up through the surface in some places) and some broken/bumpy parts. The good news is a good course designer (Strano) can make for an awesome run out of it, properly utilizing (or avoiding!) the various factors of the lot.

I promise you'll have a blast, but don't expect super grippy concrete

I'm just worried about the bumps, my car hates them, and I haven't been able to set my compression and rebound correctly

I'm pretty soft front and full hard rear, and the car is fine
