Autopower Race Roll Bar Model 60024

Has anyone out there installed an Autopower Race Roll Bar Model 60024 on a Mazda3 sedan? I have a 2007 Mazda3 i-touring 2.0L and would like to see pics of this roll bar installed. Ideally I would install the full Autopower Roll Cage for safety at track day events, but I don't want to lose back seat access and functionality. This Race Roll Bar seems to be the next best thing. I'm also going to install racing seats and 6 point harnesses when I install the bar. I would greatly appreciate any and all feedback.

Autopower cages do NOT fit sedans.

So unfortunately your answer is no. Shaggylemur contacted them last year and they responded with that answer.

Get some GTSPec braces if you want the feeling of one (rear V and front ladder will do the trick).
Also if you get a Subaru wrx harness bar that will stiffen the B pillars and allow aftermarket seats.

Otherwise you will have to get one made.

Re: Autopower Race Roll Bar Model 60024

Thank you for that information! I had sent an email to AutoPower, and was awaiting a reply - I'm sure nothing has changed on the fitment. From the looks of it, the designs are all for Miatas. Vivid Racing said the same thing, but I wanted to hear it from AutoPower first before going custom. Custom it is....

Re: Autopower Race Roll Bar Model 60024

Sparco makes them (usually)

Prices seem all over the place; THMotorsports seems to have the cheapest.

Here is an install thread: http://www.mazda speed forums.org/forum/f33/harness-bar-install-mazdaspeed-3-a-51091/
