Interchangblility of Shocks?

In researching what shocks to get for my 2008 3S Hatchback, I noticed Jack Burns stated that the new "trick" was to get the Mazda5 shocks
for the 3's instead.

So my question is this..... The Mazda5 shocks (for instance Koni FSD) show to be the same part number as the MazdaSpeed3. The part number for
the regular 3 (like mine) show to be a different number. Are they all physically interchangeable? I know the valving will be different, but will
the FSD Konis (or others) also fit the regular 3's?

Thx..........

If the MS3 shocks and Mz5 shocks are the same, they should fit our cars.

From a Stock perspective (although I think you are looking at STF?) I would make sure that the height of the spring perch is the same.

Actually, I'm looking at Stock Class; as long as the spring perches are the same, and I'm pretty sure they are (the MS3 springs are different), then
the MS3 shocks should work......if the same as the Mazda5 (as Jack Burns was quoted as saying).

The Mazda5 and MS3 FSD part numbers are the same. I put a bid in on used MS3 Koni FSD shocks, then worried that they might not be the same dimensionally.

Thanks!
