4 point harness

Looking for a 4 point harness to use with the stock seats. The "Torso Strap" I have been using has been deemed unsafe to use with the stock seats by the manufacture G-Force. What options do I have? Not interested in a rear bar either. Need one that will attach to the floor pan under the seat. Links or pics would be good. Thanks!

Re: 4 point harness

I use a Schroth Rallye 4 that attachs to the back seat (see pic). You can attach them to the seat belt bolts under the back seat. The fronts I attach to the front seat bracket bolts. Works great for me and is a breeze to install and uninstall. They are supposedly street legal but I wouldn't recommend it. You can find this harness on soloperformance.com.

Re: 4 point harness

Thanks Clemson. Several people have pointed me to the Schroth. I will definitely check it out. When I was in Blytheville this past weekend a guy in HS with an SVT Focus had this harness. I see why they don't want you to mount it to the floor..... it would cause spinal compression and pull down on your shoulders too much.

Re: 4 point harness

Clemson, would it be possible to attach some pictures of what the harness looks like inside our cars as opposed to the generic picture listed on the site?

Re: 4 point harness

This is the one to get...correct? I want to retain use of the back seat and still use the stock belts when not autocrossing.

That's the exact one I have. I will post pics of mine installed this weekend.

Re: 4 point harness

Excellent! If you could post a walk through on how to install it or link to one? It seems pretty straight forward but it couldn't hurt.

Re: 4 point harness

Here's pics of mine installed.

**Schroth recommends running shoulder straps inside the headrest posts...I didn't here because I forgot when throwing it in for pics.

**Got rid of the loop method cuz that was just stupid.
Updated pic of attachment points on the rear seatbelt bolts:

Re: 4 point harness

Loosen center strap more and put it through the back seat bolts just off center?
