Track Video at Thunderbolt Raceway NJ
This was my first event of the year, roughly one year since my last event at Monticello (third event total). This was the second day of the event at Thunderbolt Raceway. The first day was at Lighting Raceway which i did not like as much. Thunderbolt was more technical a little longer. I was running in the Blue/White group.
The first few videos are of me saving the rear end from doing a 180 during the first session with cold tires and cold track.
This video is from the second session, laps 3.
Great two day event. My brakes were really holding me back though. I was running carbotech xp10's (front) and motul 600 fluid. They just did not have enough bite and started to fade quickly.
I met a kid named Chris Keller who was instructing. 23 year old racecar driver/racing coach. So jealous! lol He was really cool though and gave me some great advice. The first day at lightning started off very poorly. I was constantly giving point-by's. In the 4th session i finally got my first point-by. Felt so good.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed.
How is driving a 100whp car more fun than a 250whp? I KNOW! Right wheel drive.
