Anyone interested in AEM Mazda 3 CAI? - INFO HERE

I've located a dealer in Sydney that may be able to source AEM CAI's for the Mazda 3.

The dealer is going to obtain pricing and availability and let me know ASAP.

I'll post the full details as soon as I get confirmation.

AEM Mazda 3 CAI from US dealer.

UPDATED----Got the info
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Rob

AEM V2 intakes are $276/each plus shipping which is approx $15 depending

on where its going.

Of course, the price comes down if there is a group buy of 12 or more.

Takes about 3 weeks for delivery once payment is made.

Please let me know when you are ready to order.

Kind Regards

Anyone know what sort of power these are good for, and what sort of price (really rough ballpark) it would be?

Count me in, anyway.

When I enquired I gave them the Part Number from the US SP23 version (21487)

As far as I know AEM have engineered a CAI for the 2.3L engine. Whether or not its mechanically compatible with the 2L ....you'd have to make a few enquiries.

Price wise in the US they go for anywhere between $175-$225.
I wont try to guess how much that will be by the time it arrives here, I'll wait for a firm price from the dealer.

I've seen figures for an extra 10-15 hp from a properly set up CAI, even better when coupled to a tuned exhaust.

Should be able to post exact detail on price and availability soon.

Then probably an exhaust is a better performance mod for me first then..

I'll be certainly interested in an exhaust system though!
If it doesnt void warranty of course.

You see, i got an extra 3 year mechanical protection plan from my dealer..
