2.3l engine. Fresh Rebuild valve noise

I just finished doing a bottom end rebuild on my 2.3L mazda. I didn't not have any valve work done to head but it was done recently and has less then 10k on the full head rebuild. I got it all put back together today and started it up it runs and idles fine but there is some tapping noise coming from the upper valve train. I only ran it for a few minutes and didn't even drive it. Any ideas on what may be wrong?
