Re: The not so ordinary Beer thread

I don't care who drinks it. It makes me sad they dare to call it beer. Same goes with all the watery mass produced crap that so many people love to drink.

Sorry, I can be kind of a beer snob at times.

Belgian FTW. Chimay, Duvel, Maredsous, Rochefort, Westmalle... or anything made by Unibroue - La Maudite or Fin du Monde come to mind. 10% alcohol, and tasty as hell.

I won't go near any big name American brand. Bud, Coors, Michelob, etc = piss water.

The City Steam Brewery in Hartford, CT makes an excelent brew called the Naughy Nurse. Its delicious and 12% alcohol by volume! Oh and Mon-Fri for lunch, if you manage to get a seat at the bar, it's $5 for a burger and a beer.

Re: The not so ordinary Beer thread

i think all of the Magic Hat beers are out of the ordinary. i like #9. i've also had a lot of microbrews which would be out of the ordinary but my favorite out of ordinary beer would be Peroni.
