OBDII Bluetooth Dongle for iPhone and Android HU

Hello, I am looking for an OBDII device for my car.

I have the new Eonon 6151 head unit on order:
Dashcam 7" Head Unit Android 5.1 Car Stereo DVD Player GPS BT DAB+ for Mazda 3 I | eBay
So its primary use will be with that.

I have an iPhone 6S. It seems there is limited support for Bluetooth OBDII dongles on iOS.
I would also like to use this device to connect to my other vehicle as needed.

It seems easy enough to link the device to the HU via Bluetooth.
I was even thinking of ordering the Pumpkin recommended device since they are so similar:
New Mini OBD-2 OBD II V1.5 Bluetooth Diagnostic Interface Scanner - Pumpkin

However, it seems most of the ones that support iPhone are wifi models.

Ideally I would use a Bluetooth device that will work both with the Eonon HU and my iOS phone. Does that not exist?

I would like to avoid another wifi device to manage. Does anyone have experience with the wifi units? Can it join my existing home network and then I access it while at home? Or does it broadcast its own SSID (that you cannot change) and you connect to independently and then use it that way?

iOS is pretty hardcore about what is and isn`t compatible via BT. With that said, I got a $20 BT OBDII interface from Amazon to use the Torque app with and it works like a charm on my Mazda as well as the Jeep, but keep in mind Torque is an Android platform app.

Yeah, I'm seeing that now. OK, thanks for the info!
I suppose I could use a cheap Android phone just for troubleshooting. Or I could break down and connect via Wifi.

Any recommendations on a device that has both Wifi and Bluetooth?

It looks like the Eonon unit prefers a device that doesn't require a unique PIN to connect.
