Remove headlamp assembly instruction

Hello,
My headlamp has moisture trapped inside and the OEM HID low beam is dead. My car is 2011 Mazda 3 5dr GT. I am trying to DIY to fix it. I believe there is a leak on the headlamp assembly. Based on the suggestion from this forum, I can use some silicon adhesive to seal the leak.
however, I have no idea how to take out the whole headlamp assembly. Anyone have a repair manual to share. My experience of DIY is closed to none and really need pictures/drawings to follow. If anyone have a free copy/video/PDF and don't mind to share or know where to obtain one, please let me know. Greatly appreciated.

look up the how tos on halos etc. there are plenty around and that shows you how to disassemble lights.

However, silicone is not what you seal them with.

@XCNuse, could you elaborate on why you are discouraging against using a silicone sealant to fix a leak in a headlight housing? What is the advantage of butyl tape?

Also, to the OP, there are factory service manuals available for download on this site...check that out for detailed instructions on headlight removal.

lol because I just tried to seal my current headlights with silicon and so far it's being useless; I mean you can if you want to, but OEM they use butyl tape and that's technically the proper material to use as it turns into a semi liquid as it heats up.

Advantages are it can be redone / reused, silicon is.. one time only and it hardens, unless you get a really soft silicon
