I needed to purchase a new xenon headlight ballast for my '10 Mazda3 and decided to take a gamble and go with www.oemxenonshop.com
for a replacement. The part I needed was OEM p/n 510H3C. They had the ballast for $150 shipped. (Compare this to $436 from www.jimellismazdaparts.com
) It came from China and took about a week to get to me. The part appears to be an OEM unit that was prob taken off of another car...there were slight marks on it that looked like it had been handled before. It was not sealed in any sort of bag as I would expect a new component to be, however, it was well packaged in bubble wrap.
The part I received included the harness, but as you can see from the pics, the harness was too short, likely from another car that uses the same type of ballast. The p/n below the barcode on the ballast is different between my original unit and the new one, however the physical part appears to be the same. I was able to reuse my existing harness so all is well. My headlight now works so I'm happy. Just thought I'd post this as a reference for others in the future as I couldn't find any review of this store when I was researching a replacement.
