I apologize if this is a silly question or if I missed a thread somwhere in my research but, I have a question for all you electronic guru's out there. I have been reading every Mazda related (and generic) post on DRL's, OEM, aftermarket, mods, etc and I still haven't come up with an answer to what I want to do.
I would like to rewire the wedge bulbs in my headlights (currently removed) in my 2013 3sGT to work like DRL's and come on with the ignition and go off when I turn on the parking and/or headlights. I have done the parking light delete and removed those wedge bulbs so right now I have 4 clean and well defined sources in just the bi-xenons and hoen fogs. I had a few wedge style LED's left over so I thew a couple in to see how it would look as standalone units and they're exactly what I'm looking for.
My only issue is I haven't the slightest inclination how to rewire that harness. I'm sure I could putz around via trial and error and figure something out, but surely someone out there would know of an appropriate wire(s) to tap and/or relay to use to accomplish this. Also, I know that there are a number of aftermarket DRL solutions, however, I am not really interested in any of them.
Below is a picture of what I would like this to look like. Any assistance you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
