lighting control questions

I've done some experiments with removing headlights bulbs and so far no dash lights or warrnings or odd behavior, however, I don't have an obdii reader to be sure there are no trouble codes. If there is no load on the lighting lines for the stock halogen high beams and low beams as in when a demon retrofit is done with a harness, will any trouble codes pop up?

Re: lighting control questions

not to my knowledge. The mazdas aren't the type of car to tell you your light is burned out. Which is a good thing because that makes it easier to mod the lighting system.

Re: lighting control questions

Found out that contrary to the information on some forums, the car will hyper blink if you have LEDs in front and back and only have ballast resistors in the front.

Also, amber LEDs inside the red brake light housing is unique, and not good looking to me, time to order the clear housings.
