Toggle Switches for Mazda 3 2011 Dash?

Does anyone know where I could find some toggle switches that would fit the blanks to the left of my steering wheel in my Mazda 3 2011? I want to wire some exterior lights to a switch and I would like to use a standard looking location. Next to my traction control button would be great. I can't find the little half inch rectangle switch/button to fit there.

this might be more than you're looking for but Upashi has used the OEM switches for other stuff.

Re: Toggle Switches for Mazda 3 2011 Dash?

It looks like Upashi paid $50 from mazda for the OEM switches; that's a bit more than i'm looking to spend for the 2 I'm trying to add. I mean the 2 switches will cost as much as on of the units i'm installing. Has anyone found anything close to OEM or at least anything that fits and doesnt look too crazy?

I'd be interested in this as well. Also, what's the best way to get to those switches for wiring and such? Can you just remove the trim panel around it or something? I would like to wire a switch for my footwell lights over there. Currently I have a switch wired in my center console.

Alternatively, you could just find a standard push button switch, take the blank switch panels, glue it to the the front of the switch, and voila, you now have a factory switch for much cheaper. Of course you still have to label it, but whatever, that's on you.

try McMaster-Carr. They've got every kind of switch imaginable - auto/marine, household, industrial, etc.

Has anyone found a switch that will fit perfectly in there? I didn't understand the gluing the switch part, I was hoping for a simple push button or a flat rocker switch. I need one to put the purple footwell lights in the gfs car and I may need one down the road for an amp kill switch or something along those lines.

1) remove current switch blank
2) Drill hole install hole in the center of the blank, sized to match the switch you get
3) Use glue (or just the mounting ring on the switch) to complete the installation.

try these: http://store.mp3car.com/category_s/110.htm

Ahh I was thinking you meant to have a push button switch like our traction control switch. Looks like I would have to use a toggle switch rather than a rocker then

Wiring

What is the best way to get the wires from my new LEDs in the grill to inside the cabin so I can connect my switch? I have been looking for the existing wires and where they go but I cant see under or around all the shrouding.
