LED strip for area below fogs?

Have any aftermarket parts suppliers come out with LED strips for the slots below the foglights on the 2010+ cars like the corksport rear bumper LED reflectors?

Re: LED strip for area below fogs?

I was installing my mirimoto 6K 35w hid kit and was looking at the front end admiring my handiwork.....and it's funny, I was wondering the same thing. I don't think it would look rice...I mean, it looks like it was made to go there

Re: LED strip for area below fogs?

I saw some LED strips that fit into the bump section in the far upper left/right corners (tips) of the smiley grille, those looked ricy to me because the placement didn't seem natural, but I agree the area below the fog lights seems natural.

Re: LED strip for area below fogs?

I got a guy up here in Ottawa that sells the Morimoto hid conversion kits. Not his main business because what he really does is retrofits for people that want to swap out the factory projectors. You know the ones I'm talking about.....that SIIICK wicked sharp beam pattern that actually brightens your light output PLUS gives you that focused sharp beam cut-off with that blueish-purplish fringe at the center like the mercs n beemers got.....and he does QUALITY work too, NOT the "what the F*&k looks good enough" attitude you see in alot of other shops. If your not satisfied, he's not satisfied.
Maaan I get goosebumps n shivers up my spine when I see that... I WANT em

Anyway, sorry, off topic but ya he also does led strips, angel eyes, retrofits. I'll hit him up n see if he has anything that would work.

Which product from superbrightleds did you put in there and how was the fitment? Do you have up close pictures of the fitment (daytime) and of the effect at night?

Re: LED strip for area below fogs?

Could you also take a picture of what it would look like with the fogs on, too?

Re: LED strip for area below fogs?

WFLS-x: WFLS-x series Weatherproof High Power LED Flexible Light Strip. color is cool white to better match the hids. cant seem to find the part number. came in .5m or 1m section but you can cut to fit, only thing i wouldve done different was order the black background if it were available when i ordered, however unless the lights are on the strip is basically completely hidden and unnoticable. smallest strip size you can get is too long so i wasted a bunch but for 11$ i can afford that. as for fitment i used the measure none cut once and eye it up method. just make sure you cut the strip with the leds in multiples of 3 since thats how the circuits are run. the strips come with 3m tape attached and it more than does the job. as far as a pic with the fog lights no. i dont have fog lights which is why i went for the leds to begin with. to each their own but i have seen one with fog lights and the led strips below driving around town and i personally think that there is wayyyyyyy too much going on when you have all that down there. very crowded looking almost as if you went to advance auto on a shopping spree.

Re: LED strip for area below fogs?

I like the way it looks
However, what you mentioned bout the fogs, lows, n led strip at bottom....You must have seen the high end mercedes. And they have that led strip at the bottom. The leds are spaced a bit farther between each other and slightly larger diodes. I think they look kinda cool...mind you.....we're talkin bout a 150 large!!! IMHO a CLS550 would look great even in puke green
