Iam Confused (HID Bulb replacement)

Ok ive read through some post...but iam still confused about getting different bulbs for my 2012 sport hb...the low beam says Phillips H11 LL 55w...

I want to change all bulbs..the low beam (H11) and the high beams and the fogs to a bulb that is more white and blue something in the 6k spectrum...

Can someone take the time and give me links to each bulb that i need to purchase...It seems many talk about HID Kits here...But My car already has the HID as far as I understand correctly...

Thanks so much for your time..

Re: Iam Confused (HID Bulb replacement)

Ok after some more searching and going to sylvania's websight I guess i dont have HID...These are the part numbers of all the bulbs for direct no modification replacement..

Low Beam=H11SU SilverStar Ultra(The brightest and whitest light. Up to 50% brighter, up to 40% more downroad visibility and up to 50% more sideroad visibility)

High Beam=9005SU SilverStar Ultra(The brightest and whitest light. Up to 50% brighter, up to 40% more downroad visibility and up to 50% more sideroad visibility)

Fogs=9006SU SilverStar Ultra(The brightest and whitest light. Up to 50% brighter, up to 40% more downroad visibility and up to 50% more sideroad visibility)

So I guess these are all correct and are direct replacement. I have 1 question how much whiter will these be than the stock bulbs...I cant afford the conversion right now nor do i have the time to install. So this way will have to do for now...If there is better bulbs please recommend them...

Thanks so much..

Re: Iam Confused (HID Bulb replacement)

Save your time and money and don't waste it on the Silverstars. They give out an imperceptibly greater amount of light, mostly by overdriving the filaments. They're expensive and they cost a lot. I'm reasonably certain you could get a HID kit for less than all three of those combined which would actually output 3x as much light.

Well brightness is not a concern...I mainly just want the more white look in the spectrum...I understand i could get the hid kit for around the same but then i would have to have someone install it..I just dont have the time or motivation to do it myself...

Ummm. Installing the HID kit is little harder than swapping out the lamps. Basically the difference is you'll still be swapping the lamps, except instead of just plugging the harness into the new lamp you'd be plugging it into the ballast wiring.

I just find it funny that you say brightness isn't a concern when this is listed after every lamp in your OP
