Problems with using forum sponsors items

I gotta tell ya I'm not keen on using forum sponsor items so far. I so far purchased 2 DDM HID kits a 55watt 8k for my lows and a 35 watt 8k for my fogs and my 55 watt kit shit out in under a year...I placed a order with SharpHID 9-27-11 and here we are 10-15 and still haven't seen my HID's from that guy because my shit had to come from fucking China... I mean for fuck sake if I ran my lab the way some people run their fucking company my damn doctors would staight tell me to go fuck off they would send their lab work to another laboratory. Any way I have a 35 watt 8K DDM kit BRAND NEW to sell someone when it gets here from China. I'm grabbing a Helios HID kit from a shop in my town that had I known they carried the H11 kits in stock I would have kept my money local. So other than The guy who I bought my carbon filter from which he was a great. By the way my carbon filter is for sale as well as I have no need for it any more. Any way my trying to help the forum days may be behind me soon any way if I pull the trigger on that Toyota FJ I'm eyeing up.

i feel ya. So many people rave about DDM but I still feel skeptical about them. I went with Phillips HIDs. They're darn expensive, but there's not a shred of a chance of having a problem

Yea I opted for a arm and leg kit as well when these DDM's get here I'll just sell them for what I gave for them I might even undercut SharpHID just to take a order away from him off the forums.. My Helios kit came with a life time warranty on hardware and 5 year on bulbs can't beat that with a bat.

That sucks. I've had 5 or so different DDM kits over the course of my two previous Mazdas without incident. I don't blame you for being upset.

I know and it really does blow because as a small business owner myself I really try to support small up coming companies. Web based businesses are hit or miss..Now that I have found a performance shop close in my town that warehouses parts and such I'll stick with the tangable business model...lol And I know not everyone is going to have a bad go around with the vendors in here but man...I just shake my head at some of the things I see posted

How much did you pay for the helios kit? I have DDM kit and yea.. it failed within 2 weeks of installing it :x still waiting for my replacement to come. I'm thinking of getting a kit from The Retrofit Source since they have a solid rep for quality and customer service. But if the helios kit is cheaper than TRS kit.. might get those haha

I paid $185.00 installed with voltage stabilizer. I got my DDM kit from Sharp HID yesterday in the mail and of course the it was missing a connection on one of the lights..lol unreal...I will never and I mean never order another product from either one of those shysters.

Sorry about your experience. We've been here for over 6 years now so next time give us a try. We aren't going anywhere. I will also add that DDM quality has gone down as they want to compete with ebay kit price wise. We offer kits like the Volt or Xtreme that use Japanese parts. The Xtreme kit can also be equipped with Philips bulbs. Sure they are more expensive but you won't deal with the situations you ran into.

Don't apologize for these other guys, Your company didn't take 3 weeks to get my item to me and send me a purchased item missing the essential connections to work properly. Which I should make them send me another kit but seeing the way their company is ran it isn't going to solve any thing because all they carry is trash cheap ass china products. I'm sure my fog lights which are DDM will shit out soon enough and I will give you guys a shot I'm not buying any more cheap ass crap. And just a side note my Helios are 3x brighter than DDM's 55 watt kit. There is a difference in name brand kits and off brand names at lest when it comes to DDM's kits as far as I see it.
