HID prices

I was looking at replacing my stock HIDs on an '11 speed and wanted to know if anyone purchased from DDM. They are asking $15 for a pair of the D2S. Thats dirt cheap since xenon expert (and others) want $150/pair

How is there such a difference in cost? Are the DDM ones garbage? Do they not fit?

Re: HID prices

I have the DDM Raptor Kit, you really cant beat the price with a lifetime warranty. Shipping is a little high though

Re: HID prices

DDM seems to make pretty reliable products. I've had my kit now for 3 years without a problem.

Corksport SRI - 35/5% tint - Sumitomo HTR Z - MTX Audio - Lamin-x headlight/foglight film - Part Plaza eyelids - 6000k DDM HID- SR*S Exhaust - Hypertech - Grounded TB - VG Sharkfin Antenna - Mazda Club Of Kansas City

Re: HID prices

4 out of 5 ddm products i bought were bad soon after purchase or just didnt work. the return policy is ridiculous. they tried to charge ME for me to return their faulty product. so ridiculous.

i used retrosolutions HID kits they have ultra low draw even at start up. other HID kids take a huge volt of electricity to start up and its not good for the HID kit/bulbs. etc..

the price maybe a bit different, but i been through my fair share of HID kits and the ones i enjoyed the most was my night vision retrosolutions HID kit 35 wat which is only slightly dimmer than DDM's one working product which was a 55watt ballast. with bulbs that were bad..... with a wiring harness which was bad... etc.etc...
