Fog Lights as DRLs for our 2010 Mazda3s?

I have a 2010 Mazda3 without fog lights. I want to get a pair of fog lights, and get them to work as my daytime running lights rather than the stock setup (Using the high beam at half power for DRL). Also is it possible to make that fog light HID? I know Im getting greedy...a HID DRL fog light... Ive seen numerous threads on this conversion for the earlier mazda3s but none so far for the new generation.

Why would you want ambient DRL to be HID? Not like you will use them to actually illuminate the road. DRLs exist to make the car visible.
That said, I'm looking to replace halogen bulbs in my fogs with HIDs. Currently, fogs don't really make a difference in lighting
Sounds like all you need is a $45 35W kit from DDM. No additional harnesses necessary.
