REDICULOUS 86 LED Bulbs, anyone try em?

was cruising ebay for some (what was supposed to be cheap) LED reverse lights... but since the reverse is the same as out brakes and such... I was thinking these could potentially be SIIIIICKKKKKKK if theres enough room inside the housing to fit all of this jazz,

Anyway, has anyone seen or tried these?!?!?!?!?!

Interesting concept, folding the arms in to insert them through the normal change port.... Pricey though!

Now: WedsSport, Dunlop, TechnaFit, Hawk, DBA, ApexCone, AEM, Koni, AWR, CP-E, Racing Beat. Soon: Exedy.

Out reverse lights are white and our brakes are red. How do you figure they are the same light? Or are you just saying it's the same model # bulb?

brake lights are white light in a red housing, reverse is white in white...

the part I don't understand however is, the same number part, as brake would have to have 2 filaments or resisters (halogen or LED) for running or braking light strength, while the reverse bulbs have only one powerful setting. I'll grab some white LED bulbs and figure it out with each set of bulbs (does anyone know if we have hyper blinker when we run LED blinkers?)

Ah, you were just saying they were the same bulb. I thought you were saying that our brake lights doubled as our reverse lights.

They might not need 2 filaments if the input power is different. I read somewhere on here that our DRL were in our high-beams and that less power is just delivered to the bulb to create the dimmer light. Not sure if this is true or not, but maybe that's how they get away with only 1 filament?

AND APPARENTLY A HYPER TYPER

How do you get rid of the hyper blinker? That just looks like your car is malfunctioning when it blinks retarded fast. And with a grin a wide as our cars', I don't need my car to be blinking like it's confused/clueless.

Re: REDICULOUS 86 LED Bulbs, anyone try em?

You have to add a resistor to the wiring harness. The LED's provide less resistance, and trick the computer into thinking that the bulb has burnt out or shorted, so it reverts to the double time blink to warn the clueless driver that they've got a derping light out. I'm not sure what capacity of resistor is required, you'd have to check with people who don't create sparks every time they remove the negative battery lead. Stupid batteries...
