Re: GRRRR, having trouble. help?

find someone with small hands, put the hood up, grab the base the bulb goes into, twist until it stops, and pull out.
Passenger side is easier, the driver's side.. is the worst, my hand was cut a few times, and I have small hands :/

Re: GRRRR, having trouble. help?

Yeah, you're gonna have some nice gashes on your hands, it's a real tight squeeze. There are little tabs protruding from the bulb base you turn to loosen it so you can remove it... I sometimes press on the further tab w/ needlenose pliers or something while pressing the easier to reach one with my other hand. Just mess around with different methods like that until you find whatever works best for you.

Re: GRRRR, having trouble. help?

me and my friend must have been messing with it for at least 4 hours. we eventually just gave up. i want to get rid of the amber lights because the projector lights look way better without those contrasting colors.

4 hours?

It really shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.
I am totally serious about small hands; the widest part of my hand is 4 inches (ish), and I had trouble with it.

Maybe this will help more than us trying to explain it:

Re: GRRRR, having trouble. help?

I read somewhere that you had to turn the bulb clockwise, which is counter-intuitive. Doesn't follow that "righty tighty, lefty loosey" slogan. But give that a whirl.
