Anyone installed LED reflectors yet?

I saw these in another thread and have been thinking about getting the pair. Kinda pricey for what it is but would make your car pretty unique at night.

I'm wondering how the install is, because I'd imagine there isn't a hole behind these reflectors and you have to drill through the bumper.. or are they like the badges and snapped into the bumper with holes already drilled?

Re: Anyone installed LED reflectors yet?

i have had these installed in my car since they were released and transferred them in to my speed aswell. they are the same for hatch and sedan unlike previous generations. the wires go through the back reflector as their is enough room for both. You must also run the wiring in to the trunk, Do this by taping all the wires together and snaking it in between the taillight guide pin so you can run the wiring in to the trunk without damaging the wiring. Their are 4 wires on the reflectors 1 common ground, parking lights, brake lights and turn signals. I do not have mine hooked up electronically though but i do have the wiring in the trunk so I can connect them if i want to

I plan to

I did this before they were even released, made my own with 4 single Super flux leds in each reflector.

I have plans to make the rear side markers function as turn signals as well.

Re: Anyone installed LED reflectors yet?

100 for shipping? How many things did you select to buy? Did you go to www.thespeedline.com or did you try buying off of the the speedline on ebay? Usually he charges about 25 or 30 for shipping for the slow shipping and like 40 or more for the super fast shipping. However if you get the slow shipping its still pretty fast

Re: Anyone installed LED reflectors yet?

5 or 6 things seems to be price relative as the more things that you order the bigger the box. Mind you the parts come directly from taiwan. I ordered my rear flares for my hatch and shipping for them was 70$ and the cost of the item was almost double.
