Voiding Warrenty

Hey everybody!

I just picked up my 2010 MZ3 Sport GS 5 days ago and have put on 100km's every day since i got it, I LOVE IT! I want to do some mods to it to make it mine, however I'm a little hesitant due to what could void my warranty. I really want to install the DDM slim HID kit, but will changing the bulb from a halogen to an HID void my warranty? If it doesn't then I'm ordering them tomorrow.

Re: Voiding Warrenty

It won't void your warranty unless it's the cause of a problem.

Corksport SRI - 35/5% tint - Sumitomo HTR Z - MTX Audio - Lamin-x headlight/foglight film - Part Plaza eyelids - 6000k DDM HID- SR*S Exhaust - Hypertech - Grounded TB - VG Sharkfin Antenna - Mazda Club Of Kansas City

Re: Voiding Warrenty

Plus, not that you would want to, it's easy enough to unplug everything and put the halogen's back in.

the only way u could void the warranty is if u burn the wires or something... but that wont happen so u good.. jus make sure u buy the correct size bulbs

Re: Voiding Warrenty

Ther is no voided warranty...They can only reject a claim on the issue your repairing.

That stuff coming out of your HUGE chrome exhaust you have mounted at an angle isn't power..It's Rice!!!

Re: Voiding Warrenty

This is true, my dealer has said to keep all your original parts. If there is an issue and they put all your original parts back in and the problem remains then the claim should go through.

I was told of a guy that replaced his intake and threw out his old. When there was an issues to cover it under warranty he had to pay for a stock intake to be reinstalled to trouble shoot. They covered him for the problem but he was still out the $$$ for the parts he threw out.

ARC Shift Knob, 25% Front and 15% Rear Window tinting, Blue LED interior lighting, 6000K HID Headlights, Höen Endurance Fog lights, 6000K LED driving lights, LED reverse lighting, CS SRI intake, Racing Beat Power Pulse Exhaust , VG Sharkfin, 17" Tenzo DC-5 rims Black w/Red Stripe, Royal Purple oil & filter

Re: Voiding Warrenty

I ordered my HID's on the 26th and they came today when I was out for dinner. I got home around 9:30 tonight, realized that I had no electrical tape or velcro at home so I had to run to Home Depot (thankfully they're open until 10). I wanted these in a.s.a.p and I dont have a garage, so I did most of the install by desk lamp light. Super easy to put in and I'm sooooo satisfied with the outcome. I'll be doing the parking light delete tomorrow after work!
