Porsche/Mercedes Style LED DRL

today i installed my new led strips into my car. my itouring doesnt have fog lights and i felt that it was lacking something down there. i saw you guys do the audi style leds inside the headlight but i thought it would be a little too much work for me. after seeing the new porsche and mercedes driving around with the led DRLs i looked at my car and found the perfect spot to simulate the same look. the mod was simple enough, running a wire from the fuse panel to the lights and grounding. the lights are mounted in the small cutout all the way at the bottom of the bumper. $36 shipped plus supplies check back later for pics in the dark!

Re: Porsche/Mercedes Style LED DRL

ya i drilled a small hole just big enough for the two 20g wires on the led strip. its maybe 1/8th in hole. there are 3 bolts that hold the front of the underside plastic piece to the bumper, removed them and pulled down the front, then put a fishing wire thru the engine compartment to pull the wires up along the existing headlight and sensor wiring. soldered wires for power and ground and connected them. led strips from superbrightleds
