Re: How to switch license plate lights?
I hate to revive a dead thread, but I just went out and did this now. After deciding not to deal with the black clips like in the Corksport diagram, I just decided to take the 2 clear covers off, similar to what ajlee613 said. I used a flat head jewelers screwdriver, popped one side out at a time, and then pushed the clear housing thing towards the front of the car. Did that for each side, threw in 2 bulbs from my '07 map lights (2825). Then to put the clear housing back on, keep the rounded part towards the rear of the car, the way it was when originally taken off. Put one side in first with the clear clip thing on the side, and then use the tiny screwdriver to carefully pry the other side into place. It will click in when it is set. I just did this in about ten minutes in the dark (flashlight of course). I only am writing this in case someone like me is searching around on here on how to get this done. Like I said, it was probably said by others, but just thought I'd toss in my two cents too.
