Which H11 JDM Yellow (2500-3000K) to buy?!?

Hello all,

I recently purchased a set of jdm yellow 3000K H11 bulbs on Ebay, which were surprisingly cheap. In a matter of days, one of the bulbs blew, and I ended up buying a similar set in 2500K color - again, not much luck. One thing I noticed is that both of these pairs came with a silver-ish dye on the tips of the bulbs, which after using the fogs a few times, flaked off the surface of the bulb. Anyone knows what the purpose of this film/dye is, and is there a way to get good, durable bulbs without such dye so that it doesn't flake off? Recommended brands?

Thanks!

You can try the stage 1 Nokya Hyper Yellow bulbs. I have them in my fogs and it's been good so far.

Has the film/dye on the tips of the bulbs cracked/flaked yet?

Try PIAA Ion yellow from amazon. About 60 bucks. They look good and last long (at least from my own personal experience). You get what you pay for.
