Re: should I get hid kit?

i'm no expert.. but the first thing you need to do is pop the hood open and look at both the bulbs you have. H11 or H8 or 9005?.. etc.. then you need to go online and search for HID kits matching the bulb numbers/type.. thats it.

The hard part is looking out for a place to mount the ballast... but once you have stuff planned.. it's smooth sailing from there.

P.S. avoid drilling holes.. use existing ones.. and the double sided tapes provided with the HID kit,

cheers...

Re: should I get hid kit?

HIDs arent rice at all. it all varies on what color temperature you get. for example: 3000k = yellow, 4500k = oem white (bmw, lexus, cadillac, etc.) 5400k = white, 6000k = white with hints of blue, 8000k is ice blue, 10000k is deep blue, and i think 12000k is like violet-purple.

i got 6000k because i didnt want pure white. i wanted a hint of blue, and love the look of it. so the choice is totally up to you which color you chose to go for. id highly recommend the 5400k or 6000k for the best light output and look. thats jus my opinion of course!

if i mis-used any of the above color temperature colors, please correct me lol

If you shave that part on the projector that reflects light above the cutoff like a few have,
there wouldn't be any glare to blind.
