Re: Independent Fog Lights?

I don't think its possible this time due to the 2010s using a lighting control module. There is no direct connection between the switch and the lights. The only way I could think is to hook up a relay to the factory fog light switch and then tap that into the power lines for the fog lights bypassing the module. But I have no clue how to exactly do it, if I had a wiring diagram for the lighting system I could figure it out though.

LAST NIGHT.... I HAD THIS DREAM THAT I WAS A MUFFLER AND THEN THIS MORNING.... WHEN I WOKE UP.... I WAS EXHAUSTED.

Re: Independent Fog Lights?

It is a bit harder in the 2010. But if you really want to do it, you can.
Just add another internal switch that is fed by the battery and then feed that to a relay and then your fog lights. Remember to fuse your electrical setup according to avoid any mayor damage to your electrical system/battery if you are not qualified for such installations.

Re: Independent Fog Lights?

I wonder if dealer set light control module to operate it in JPN ver mode... Purpose of having light control module is to be flexibile setting over many differet country's edition without having different wiring settings.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

I have found out where the relay sits for the fogs for the 2010s its on the passenger side by the washer fluid bottle and the indy fog mod IS POSSIBLE. I have already completed the mod. The wiring on the headlight switch is the EXACT same just different coloured wiring. Unfortunatly i did not have a chance to take pictures but I am more then willing to help explain this one

Re: Independent Fog Lights?

Pics at that range is difficult anyway, I imagine the camera would have to be pretty close for it to be clear. Anyways, make a write up!!!!
