2010 Mazda 3 GT headlight issues

Hey all,

I have recently purchased a 2010 Mazda 3 GT 4 door. I have noticed that the low beam xenon headlamps are pointed very low. There are a lot of instances where I cannot see nearly far enough. Obviously high beams are a quick fix, but there are a lot of situations where its unsafe for the drivers coming towards me if I flash on the high beams. Has anyone else noticed an issue with the xenon low beams being pointed too low? I brought it to a dealer and apparently the lights aren't adjustable.

Did dealer told you they cannot adjust??

Headlights ARE adjustable. There are aiming screw access back of the headlight.

Go to dealer and ask for repaire(work) manual"aiming headlight" page.

Re: 2010 Mazda 3 GT headlight issues

I brought my car into the dealer and the mechanic said they could not adjust my headlights. Maybe because it's the adaptive front lighting system? should there still be a way to adjust?

ouch... I can't belive those who doesn't know about aiming headlight and working on vehicle and getting paid!?

aiming headlight is very basic common safty check subject. And how to adjust process is in their repaire manual..

YES headlight is adjustable. AFS / non AFS, auto leveling/manual leveing doesn't matter, they all are adjustable.
If you can take back view of headlight picture, I may be able to point out how to adjust over pictures.

I got the same problem !! I noticed it !! If you park the car in front of a wall, you see that the lights wont go higher than a line which is so low !! I cant see much when i'm driving at night ! I dont know how to fix this !

1) 2001 BMW 330CI - Full package - 5 speed manual - Blue
2) 2006 Mazda 3 Sport GS - 5 speed manual - Gray
3) 2010 Mazda 3 Sport GT-E - 6 speed manual - White

That is correct.
Take it to another dealer, any official dealer must accept your car for repairs/maintenance of your mazda vehicle.
Even with HID original factory installed, they are adjustable.

pic/update? I'm thinking about having my dealer adjust mine up as well, since the fog lights have absolutely no presence right now!

I noticed that too (halogens) that the cut off was pretty low. I guess I'll call and see if I can get it adjusted. Also, question. I plan on replacing the Halogen with HID at some point so I should do this asap before i do that lol.

Re: 2010 Mazda 3 GT headlight issues

Hey sorry, I'll post a pic soon. I've been on vacation. I've called another mazda dealer and they insist that they cannot definitely adjust the headlights. I cannot believe this
