I asked for 2 or 3 weeks, I took 3 months, because we had a nasty hot summer...
I broke the Porsche, so I needed to get the Mazda back online. Got it buttoned up, turned the key, and it started on the first crank, NO ERROR CODES, no stumbling, perfect idle. I've run about 50 miles on it, and it seems 100% correct. Holy cow.
So, 2006 5-door 5 speed with the M-speed exhaust, 100,818 miles.
Ford 2.5L from a 2011 Escape, ~55k miles.
2008Milan intake adapter. All Mazda pieces and parts (including valve cover).
New clutch, new drive shafts.
Now I need to tear into the 2.3L block and see what exactly I did to it.
so, who's made a set of badges for the 2.5L conversion cars? I can't have that 2.3 on my fenders anymore...maybe I'll try to prototype something, new fender badges and something for the tailgate.
