Question Should I Buy?

(Not posting in "Is this a good deal" because the last post I saw was in 2016 and I want this post to be seen because I need a bit of help)
This is really the only Mazdaspeed3 in my price range in the Utah/Wyoming area, I need something reliable (IE:No extra service aside from general upkeep for at least 20k miles, and cheap repairs regardless) something decent in the snow, and something at least a little fun

Tell me how this vehicle fits in:

I'm thinking that probably isn't a good car for you, if for no other reason than the car is highly unlikely to be inexpensive to maintain. Imagine buying the car and then having the turbocharger fail within the first few months. I picked this particular maintenance item because a 2009 MazdaSpeed3 with that many miles on it is now right in the sweet spot for a turbocharger failure and/or a clutch replacement.

Question: Do you really need AWD or are you just under the impression you need it? I ask because a FWD Mazda3 (or Civic, or...) equipped with winter tires will do very well in the snow.

AWD drive is nice (I get snow 6 months of the year) but it isn't a necessity for me, FWD with good tires gets a good pass from me

We often have snow six month a year hear in New England as well. That said, I would guess there is only snow on the roads maybe 20 days per year.
