it really isn't too illogical for mazda to remove a color option for specific colors as it saves on costs. with titanium, the red matches better imo, as it does mix better with the interior lighting and overall appearance. keep in mind that you can always just get plain black seats standard, without having to go to the leather option.

That's only true if you get the 3i. The 3s has two-tone seats standard.

3i = Black/graphite or Beige
3s = Black/red or Black/blue or Black leather

ah yes, thanks for the correction. the chart is a bit misleading. in any case, the red still matches better, and the leather option is there.

Yeah, the first row on the chart is interior trim, not seat fabric. I saw an earlier spec sheet that said "Mazda3_i black/beige or black". I never saw a picture with black&beige seats, so I figured they meant black dash, beige doors and seats.

What's even more interesting is that certain trims can't get certain colors. Since no other blocks are filled in for the greens, do that me the 4s and 5s can't be green?

Anyway, I'm quite pleased with these options and prices.

My guess is that the beige and greens are not sufficiently "sporty" shades. Probably a hunter green and a pale light green. I personally wouldn't get a 3s in such an ordinary color. Leave the boring stuff to the competition.

Here's a question:

What does the 4door s look like without the side sill extensions? Has anyone seen any pictures?

Also, it seems to me like this isn't the final options list. Where are all those wind deflectors and mud guards and the like?

I meant on the price list, none of those options are listed.

Does anyone know what an "answer back" feature is, in terms of the "Remote keyless illuminated entry system with 'answer back' feature"?
