even with those mods you shudnt be having that poor of gas mileage, unless you ran over ur friend's civic and are dragging it, an exhaust gives you less back pressure but shudmt alter mpg, same goes for the intake, with both im still hitting 32 mpg all around city and highway combined

Do you drive with cruise control? When I purchased my 06 3GT w/154k mtx. the previous owner was avg.24.5 on the trip computer. I got it up to 34.3 on my last fill up 400 miles on the tank with 20 miles to go. My trip computer says 29.2, I use cruise control set @65 on the highway. I drive 80/20 hwy/city, my car have a Injen Cold air and suspension mods that's it.

One thing you need to realize with these cars are that you can't drive past 65 mph and expect good gas mileage. I believe you said that you have a 2.0 so I'm not sure that it matches my 2.3, but when I'm going 65 I'm pretty close to 3000 rpm's. At 75 I believe that I'm between 3500 and 4000. So just because you are on the freeway doesn't necessarily mean that you will get better gas mileage if you drive at above 70. I once drove from Oakland to San Bernardino and had to fill up 3 times. I got here in 4.5 hours instead of 5.5 but I paid the price.
