Recently had a trip to the dealership and they informed me that my 08 mazda 3 has a (Upper Engine Motor Mount) that needs replacing. Im kinda confused on which one they were mentioning because when I google Upper engine motor mount nothing really comes up. Where are the locations for the motor mounts and what are the part numbers needed if anyone know any suggestions?

I have all 3 OEM mounts sitting in my garage. I'm just waiting for one to go out so I can replace all 3 of them. My hatchie still has the original mounts with 125k miles. On my last visit to the dealer, the tech said they still looked good and the motor doesn't vibrate at all.

Is your upper mount as bad as mine?

I have some video from under hood of the mount and how it responds to torque. It seems to be hammering the rubber bushing that is bolted to the head against the mount casting that is bolted to the body. It does this under acceleration and particularly when there is wheel hop. The engine moves rapidly fore and aft as the bushing hammers. There is an example of it at 4:59-5:04 in the video. If anyone has time, perhaps they can comment on what they think is the condition of the mount. Thanks:
