Get one from the junkyard. I have looked around and parts stores only sell the basket as a single unit not just the pump. Depending on the year of car and emissions protocol could range from $300-$450

also getting to the fuel tank isn't hard jsut make sure when you go to unlock the pump from the tank push down otherwise the child lock will kick in and you will just free spin the pump in place.

To make the job easier, have the tank as empty as possible, otherwise your gonna make a mess.

There are two different styles of fuel pump depending on if you have a plastic tank or a metal one. The metal one has a little slide ring that only requires a screw driver and a hammer to remove.

Make sure you pull the rear seat cushion up and disconnect the fuel pump connector.

For a step by step procedure on how to replace the fuel pump, go to: http://www.4shared.com/folder/tF1dpg9H/_online.html and download the PDF file. I put together this doc when I replaced mine.

Hope this helps.

Do the regular 3's have a CDFP as well? Or just a fuel pump in the tank?

Yes, the assembly can only be accessed by dropping the tank
