Driver and passenger front windows will not move

About two weeks ago, the right front window stopped going down. I drive alone, so I did not think much of it. Then today, the driver side does not go down. The left and right rears go down and up just fine.
I push the driver side and passenger side front, and I hear a click come from the door, but the window does not move.
The fuses appear to run l-l and r-r so it cannot be a fuse problem.
Bad relay? bad motor?
Any ideas?

....and yes I tried "search" a couple of times and all I get are threads about the double click issue that happens when you unhook the battery. This aint that.
Any help would be appreciated.

Push down on the window while working the motor, mine get stuck because the weatherstripping gets stuck to the window. They were actually stuck at the dealer when I got my car.

Does it roll down if you use the buttons on the driver side door? If it does, then it's prob the switch in the driver door.

Do the lights dim when you hit the switch? If yes, then motor is drawing current. If not, maybe not with the motor.

I am currently having a problem with the passenger rear window not rolling down (thankfully it will go back up tho). It's the switch in the driver door. blargh I'll have to open the door to clean the switch/contacts.

Window will not roll down using either switch. Lights dim when I hit the switch for either door. Try to push window down, will not roll down.

Thought maybe a bad relay but that does not make much sense...since the fuses are for left-side, right side, the relay must be as well.

Two motor failures?
I only ask because when I get the car apart, I will not be able to drive it (cops hassle you when you have loose pieces on the car--don't ask), so I would like to have the necessary parts on hand.

Can you get the window motor all by itself? I thought of pulling the motors from the back windows...

If lights dim, the windows are probably stuck. Try to run a credit card or something between the weather stripping and window on the inside of the car.

the weatherstripping was tight, but I was able to run the card all the way around on the inside. I can actually hear a soft clunk when I hit the door switch.
could not get it in the outside between the strip and the window will try again tomorrow...

To prevent it every once in a while roll the windows down, saturate a q-tip with silicon oil (CRC,etc) and wipe the q-tip all the way around each window track.

By the way, the motors are really easy. Take the door panel off and its connected to the window frame/drive sprocket by 3 long screws. Shouldnt need to touch it though if lights are dimming and all.

I used Blaster on both windows last night, spraying all arid the edges. This morning they were both stuck. At. Noon, the passenger window worked! Maybe that was the answer; I will spray more of the lubrication in the driver side door tonight to see what happens.
