Drivers Door Lock Actuator

My driver's door lock would not lock or unlock. I can see it trying but, it seems like the tiny toy car motor is on it's last leg, or the plastic gears are shot. The stealership wants over $100 bucks for it and on-line about $120. Have any of you had this issue before and how did you re-solve it?

the motor in mine burned out. i have not gotten around to fixing it. if you do take it apart document it please. currently i use the key and lever inside...

After much re-search, i just ordered one from the stealership for $130 bucks.
