Currently on my car I have 17" rims, 205 50 R17, aftermarket with Cooper Sport Zeon tires. I'm curious to what the best tire pressure is, i always check my tire pressure every couple weeks, but i got my tires rotated and now it feels bumpy like too much air. Id like to know the best driving pressure for your tires.

I keep mine around 35PSI not so hard, not too soft. Dealer always setys them too damn high around 44 psi, I never do that. Others will tell ya 32 psi is good, but that will wear your tires out as well, but give you better grip.
I have 215/45/17 and 35psi has always worked for me, sometimes I will go to 38 PSI during the Summer. More info here - http://www.ehow.com/how_4576170_dete...ssure-car.html More - http://www.modified.com/tech/0208scc...ide/index.html |

No dealer should ever be setting your tire pressure to 44psi... and are you talking about cold psi or hot psi?
There's no perfect "right" tire pressure, but somewhere between 32-36psi cold is a good starting place for you to try. |

[/quote] Wait, I don't know what I'm talking about, nevermind! I was thinking of the middle number (i.e. sidewall width).
