Default 2007 Mazda 3 Low Beam headlight

Hello

Does anybody know how to change the low beam headlight on an 07
Mazda3. I could get behind it took off the rubber cover but then there was this clip and I am not sure how to remove.
Or does it come out some other way....

Any ideas?

Default Re: 2007 Mazda 3 Low Beam headlight

Per the owners manual:

Replacing Exterior Light Bulbs
Replacing headlight bulbs
1. Make sure the ignition switch is turned
off and the headlight switch is off.
2. Lift the hood.
3. When replacing the left headlight bulb,
turn the cover screws counterclockwise
and remove them with the cover.
4. Find the high and low beam bulbs in
the rear of the headlight unit.
The outboard bulb is the LOW beam,
and the inboard one is the HIGH beam.

There's an image on page 8-40 that may help too.

Hope this helps!
