2008 GT MS3: Stock w/ Mazda Catback
Odometer: 1564 (Oil Changed at 1100 with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 5w30) Dyno: Mustang Temp: 98F 88% Humidity (Enterprise, AL) Assist: Fan (however airflow on the engine was not optimal, but sufficient) Gear: 4th Avg PSI: 13 1st Run: 216hp/239tq 2nd Run: 229hp/252tq (15 min Cooldown) I will post the slips as soon as I get them scanned in. Dyno was done to 6000rpms. I am a bit dissapointed, however its all good. I just got her and I have ordered the following: Cobb SRI Cobb Turbo Inlet TurboXS DP Hoping to make some good gains off those. I will be returning to the SAME Dyno with the SAME operator after the install. |

What gear was this in? 1st and 2nd have less boost to minimize torque steer. [/quote] No offense my friend, but if read the post again, you will see that it was a 4th gear pull. I am concerned that the TMIC wasn't getting enough air. As you will see in the dynograph that I will post soon as I can get it scanned.....a 15min cooldown made a pretty decent difference. That thing needs to come off and a FMIC needs to go on..... I will make a double check, but I am 87.36% sure it was a loaded dyno... I think it was a fair dyno. All the hype about different dyno's annoy me. THe guy who owns this dyno makes $60,000 performance cars (Classic Shelby Cobra's and such) on demand. So I trust him. I have their website but I am not sure if I am allowed to post it. What I think it comes down to....is this. 1. Pick a tuner with a Dyno 2. Use the same tuner, with the same dyno after every mod or tune. 3. Post the facts, and nothing but. 4. If you talk the talk, prepare to walk the walk, or be humbled. Stuff Happens. 5. Overall, the number do not matter, its the enjoyment of driving your ride and/or what you do at the track. No one really cares at the end of the day. As said, I am dissapointed, but it is what it is. I got my baseline and now I know where I am starting. -Lec |
