Stereo problem with all 2008.5 model radios

I posted over on the other forum. So far three people have the same problem with speakers cutting out at different volumes. It seems as soon as you get beyond 34 the mids and low shut off. If is is anywhere below 30 it seems OK. At 34 it sounds muffled, like the tweeters are not working. This is very strange! Well my car lasted one day, without having the dealer start taking things apart. Pretty bad workmanship from Mazda.

irrelevant... sorta, but how are you taking your stereo past 30 and not killing your hearing?

18 is plenty loud enough for me.

35 is not loud at all. I am assuming there is a large volume bias with the new models. The guys on the other forum posted the same volume.

You have to remember that if his hearing is worse than yours he may need it louder to to get the volume he wants.

Do you think there might be a speaker saver type thing? Something that limits the power to the speakers when your getting close to there limits? I don't know but it sounds like that could be the problem if they even make anything like that. thats just my two cents

Totally joking, do the 2008.5 models have a different Bose system than the other GT models?
