Just wondering what is the easiest and safest way to remove a dealership sticker from my car? I figured a couple of people on here have done it before.
Your dealer put the window sticker on a painted surface and not on a window? Interesting. My dealer took it off and handed it to me when I took delivery of the car.
I used a hair blower fingernails and hot water and it came off fine, just make sure you don't keep the heat on one spot for too long because it will mess up your paint.
A hot day and a long finger nail work just fine. If anything is left over any citrus based cleaner works well. Spray it on let it sit and the adhesive slides right off. I worked in a heavy truck shop for a few years and I would have to take decals off of huge box trucks and even some semi trailers. We had a steamer that we used which was a blessing but after that we sprayed citrus cleaner on one whole side let it sit and blasted the hell Out of it with the heated power washer. The goo slid off like butter on a hot pan. Of course that was large scale. But same concept for small scale stuff.
