Yes. there is already a topic here that discusses this, but for some strange reason the discussion went on a tangent and the question was never properly answered.
I would like to konw ( and please stay on topic ) The 0-100 km/h acceleration time for a Mazda3 2.0 Sedan Manual.
2.0 manual time from 0-100 km/h SEDAN
please?
thanks.
( i read somewhere that it was 9 seconds, and i know that cant be true so... )
In Europe the hatch is rated at 9 seconds straight, and I don't think it's gonna be any better than that. You have to switch to 3rd gear to reach 100 km/h. I've tried and it's closer to 9 secs, than 8.
I don't know what u are talking about. I timed my 0-100 km/h and you don't needto shift into third to reach 100. All u have to do is push the first one at 6500rpm and shift it fast. I did it in 8.9 and it was my besttime. I have a 2.3L hatch manual and i was expecting better result. :x
i got the 2.0 and it dose get to 60 in 2nd easily. i timed it at 8.3 but i dunno how accurrete that will be since it was with a cell phone stop watch. anyway i was really abusing the clutch in that one.
hey guys in wheels magazine australia they got 8.7sec
iv personally timed a 9second run with a stop-watch just using my speedo
and using a g-tech my most accurate (ie: perfect conditions, perfect shifts, repeatable) time is 8.67sec
iv got the 2.0L and iv heard its quicker than the 2.3L to about 80km/hr
but then the 2.3L catches up and wins over the quarter mile significantly

Yah I am pretty dead certain you can reach 105 almost 110 in 2nd gear. As long as you take it to 7100RPM.

trieded my self on the f1 track second gear max that you can get at 6500 before the redline 80 at 7100rpm i gues 100k/h MAX
