Bolt Pattern - 5x114.3 (5x4.5) is the correct specification
is there really a 5x114? maybe they rounded it off....

thats what I was thinking, it has to be 114.3, probably a typo of some kind because I have never seen that size before.

The vast majority of normal passenger cars have either a 114.3mm (which corresponds to 4.5") or a 100mm bolt circle, and most recent models are 5 bolt (5x114.3mm is our car's spec, which is quite common). A lot of people round to just 114 when talking about the bolt circle, since there aren't any consumer wheels manufactured to just 114, they are all 114.3.

Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wheel_sizing for more info.
