Where is the Mazda 3 Made ?

I heard JAPAN is that true ?

If so that increases my chances of getting the car by a LOT.

Hiroshima Japan
Final Assembly ^^

Engine and trans made in Japan. Mine says 0% parts from US/CDN and 80% parts sourced from Japan.
I wonder where the other 10-20 % of the remaining parts come from?

Mexico?

Why does the sedan seem to have 90% Japan parts, and the hatch have 80%. What's the big difference?

Actually, I think it says 0% North America, so that cancel's out Mexico... though not Brazil and SA :)

Saint-Gobain

Yea it's a French company with manufacturing facilities in 45 countries. I think the automotive glass division is based in Germany but it is also manufactured in US and Asia. Most German, French and Britich cars us Saint-Gobain or Sekurit Brand (also S-G) glass.

Engine & Transmission - Mazda in Japan
Chassis - Volvo in Europe
