most people do it to acheive a cleaner look rather then having all this lettering crap all over the place.

I guess I was just unaware that those things can come off without damaging the car.

Also is it possible to remove the dealer logo things when they look like its painted on?

if its painted on, obviously not. if its a vinyl decal though you can take it off no problem. the 3 is taped on however the word mazda actually is drilled in so unless you wanna bondo and sand and paint id leave it on.

If it's vinyl, it should be cake to remove, any remaining adhesive can be removed with adhesive remover ( I use a citrus based remover), then just wash the area and put on a coat of wax

hair dryer or leave the trunk/hatch open in the sun on a hot day and peel away and use goo gone to remove the left over glue from the decal.  most dealership wouldn't waste their time painting their name.  it would take 1 min or less to add vinyl compared to the time it would take to paint, dry and wax it.

I told my dealership I wouldn't take delivery of a car with their badge on it. I said if you must you can put on your lisence plates. I then removed those plates after getting it home.  :D
I hate dealership badges.
There is a Chevy/Dodge dealership that puts their vinyl ad by the driver and passenger side door along with the trunk on trucks! Retarded!

im taking the lisecence plate frame back that i already took off. i took the originals off and threw them out. i go in for some warranty work and they put new ones on. so im gonna take them back and give them to them and tell them that if i ever find them on my car again that it will be the last they see of me.

I would fucking flip out if a dealer painted its logo on my car.  And yea, that shit about the license plate is pretty freakin gay too.  They did that shit to me at first.  That thing came off when I got home.  I'm glad there wasn't a sticker on there or anything.

I always tell dealers to not put any shit on my car. And I get the clear plate covers as soon as I get the car. After seeing the pic, I think I will debadge my 3 also. It is a pain when waxing.

Its funny that some people want no Mazda badges and others have specifically requested the "2.3" badge if their car didn't come with one.
