Well, after waiting for over a week for my exhaust from CVR (this is in no way a knock against them as it wasnt their fault the exhaust was taking forever) i canceled my order monday morning of this week. i got in contact w/ Sam over at crossoverperformance and explained my situation. he had the exhaust IN STOCK ready to ship that day. i paid 7 dollars less too 8). i received a tracking number MONDAY NIGHT and tuesday had my exhaust. it came from texas to illinois. THATS what i call customer service so BIG THANKS goes out to Sam and i recommend him to anyone on the board. anyway, getting to what you all want to hear. i was originally going to throw the exhaust on last night but since my garage is void of any useful tools (most importantly a sawzall) i was planning on going to a buddys house to put the exhaust on. well, that fell thru so i was faced w/ a decision. do i wait until later in the week to put it on or do i just drop it off at carx by my work and let them do it. i left it w/ carx this morning and 50 bucks later the exhaust is on...not quite the do it youself job like i wanted, but oh well
inital impressionsi drove the car for a total of maybe 3 minutes? from carx back to my office. the smile from ear to ear has yet to leave my face. the exhaust tone is nothing short of perfection. i was scared it would sound a bit ricey and hondaish (even after hearing all the good things on the board) but to my surprise its just a tone all its own. i guess the closest thing i can compare it to is maybe a srt4. i couldnt really tell if there was a butt dyno gain but i didnt have a chance to get on it. the car is almost stocklike at idle and has a nice hum to it while light on the throttle. i blipped it once switching lanes and it just sounds fantastic
after work i will take a some vids for you guys (startup, idle, cruising in cabin, wot in cabin, wot outside, etc etc) so that theres just that many more vids floating around. as a side note, the fit and finish of this thing is top notch. the whole thing is nice and polished and looks fantastic. the tip fits the rear bumper perfectly...what can i say, i'm in love with it so far and ive only driven for 3 mintues. i'll post up vids and pics later today (assuming it doesnt rain)
some pics for you...

and now we start updating w/ vids...
vid #1: startup w/ a little idle and some revs...i realize after that the camera was a bit too close to the exhaust so its muffled a bit but my batteries were almost dead for this vid so i have to let them charge before i can take any more videos...plus, its now traffic time in IL so any other vids will wait...
vid#2 fly by...self explantory
vid#3 drive away ( was lazy shifting so that u can hear the exhaust between shifts) *NEW*
