To get the stock exhaust off you have to cut it. I went to autozone and they have a pipe cutting tool, basically looks like a chain for a bike with plier type handles...you clamp it onto the exhaust and move it side to side and it cuts RIGHT through the pipe easy. Took no time getting it off. I did it myself with that tool, socket set, opened end wrench set, and a pair of ramps. If you take it to a shop they will charge ~100 bucks to install the exhaust, at least thats what I was quoted before finding the tool (which you can rent from autozone)
